Hands Across the Border - a Peace Arch Celebration

Presented by the International Peace Arch Association

Sunday, June 11th, 2023
8:30 am - 2:30 pm

Check-In & Registration
Opens 8:30 am

Please have your tickets ready to be scanned!

Event check-in is located in the Arch field adjacent to the Peace Arch.  Volunteers will scan your unit registration/ticket upon arrival at the park. You can help us minimize check-in wait time for everyone by being prepared!

When you registered, each member of your group received an email registration form with their name, waiver, and barcodes on it.  PRINT OUT your or your group's registration tickets, and have parents or guardians sign your group's waivers.  Everyone should line up with their ticket facing out and ready to scan.

Groups of five or more can staple (bundle) all their registration tickets together in the upper left-hand corner.  The group leader can come to check in your
unit.

After you are scanned in, you will receive your HATB GOODIE BAG PROGRAM.

YOUR pre-ordered EVENT  T-SHIRT(S) can be picked up at the IPAA'S Booth. Purchasers must have a picture ID to pick up event T-shirts.

International Patch Trading Fellowship!

It will be an exciting day of patch trading and collecting with your international friends.

In addition to receiving your Hands Across the Border patch/crest in your HATB goodie bag. Bring extra patches or create your own unique trades/swaps to bring to the event.

HATB patch trading fellowship is a unique event where we trade Boy Scout and Girl Scout memorabilia. It is a great place to make friends acquire items, meet friends and learn about our hobbies.

Scavenger Hunt

How many flowers (plants) are in each front row of the American flag?  the Canadian flag?

Peace Arch History Exhibit

What in the Sam Hill is the Peace Arch?

No Peace Arch Celebration would be complete without a Portal of Peace History Exhibit. What was life like for kids in 1921 when the Peace Arch was dedicated?

What kind of game did kids play? How did kids contribute to the creation of the Peace Arch.

This year will include some good old fashioned fun & games to play!

Your scavenger hunt questionnaire is located on the back of your HATB event program. Event programs will be handed out when you check in and pick up your goodie bags.

As you enjoy exploring Peace Arch Park watch
